From Sprint Cars to Semi Trucks

Born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, Chris Andrews has always been a bit of an entrepreneur. The first items he ever sold were on eBay, and he used the profits to finance his passion, one he holds to this day: dirt sprint car racing.

Back then, his family owned a racing program, and when Chris turned 20, the program was beginning to grow. Moving up the racing ranks required their team to buy a large semi-rig for local traveling in the region. Shopping online for a truck opened Chris’ eyes to the inconsistency in pricing from one website to the next.

In October 2010, Chris made the difficult decision to sell the family team and go all in on used semi trucks. The income from his sale allowed him to purchase four pre-owned semi trucks, add a few friends to the payroll, and the rest is history.

In his first year of business, he sold five trucks. The next year he sold 15, then 30, and so on. These days, we sell around 1,000 used semi trucks each year and have 150 employees working hard, so future drivers can accomplish their goals of starting a new business and making a name for themselves, just like we did.
